Why This Site?

In their book Sitting At the Feet of Rabbi Jesus, Ann Spangler and Lois Tverberg describe how the Jewish people of Jesus' time believed that study of the Torah (the first five books of the Old Testament) was the highest form of worship.

Their studies were motivated by a deep reverence for God's Word.  They studied not just in the temple, but also in homes and even on dusty roadsides, wherever people could gather together.  Their discussions often took the form of vigorous debating as they sought to seek a deeper meaning of Scripture.

I certainly don't claim to have all the answers, but I am committed to studying, seeking, and looking up until our Lord returns.

By the look of things, that may be very soon.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Revelation 22:20)
